    A professional journalist having 50 years of media exposure at top levels – Statesman, Indian Express and Times of India – and 15 years with All India Radio as English News Reader and Feature Producer. Now Chief Editor of HINT group of Newspapers. He has been the leader of GSE team from India to USA (1973), and the Indian journalist to officially represent the country at the International Institute of Journalism in DPR Korea (1985)

    Mr. Vijay Sekhri, Visionary Founder of the Hint Electronic Media and Hint Group of Publications, was the doyen of journalism in Ghaziabad.

    Hint under his leadership has trained a large number of journalists and many of them today occupy senior positions in National newspapers and T.V. channels.

    In his early days as a radio professional Mr. Vijay Sekhri had distinguished himself by his voice on the All India Radio as an English Newsreader / Commentator. He earned a remarkable distinction as a radio journalist during his ..15 ..years ..stint. He worked ..in all the fields of news, features and entertainment. Mr. Sekhri also left his deep imprint on the print media while working for The Times of India, The Indian Express, The Statesman and The Hindustan Times.

    In 1963, Mr. Sekhri undertook an enterprise called 'Hint'. Building on the concept of neighbourhood newspaper very popular in the USA, he started editing and publishing 'Hint' as an English news weekly. Soon the newspaper caught the fancy of Ghaziabad residents and it became a compulsive reading habbit with a large number of people, mostly bureaucrats, educationists and the intellectual elite of Ghaziabad.

    His professional achievements include his accreditation as Senior Correspondent-cum-Editor with the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Govt. of India. He was also nominated to the Second International Training Course of Journalists, conducted by the DPR-Korea in 1985, and was chosen as the leader of the International Group of 43 Journalists.

    Besides being a member of the Indian Newspaper Society (INS), All India Newspaper Editors' Conference and Ghaziabad Management Association (GMA), Mr. Sekhri was also the founder and executive member of Centre for Promotion of Alternative Institutions (India) and Rotary Club of Ghaziabad.

    Mr. Sekhri had widely traveled to the USA, USSR, Australia, the Far East and Europe. With such vast treasure of experience, Mr. Vijay Sekhri remains a source of inspiration to the new generation of journalists and media specialists.

    (Chairman / Managing Director)
    A professional journalist having nearly 25 years of working exposure, has been with Hindustan Times and Press Trust of India. Now, he is the Editor of the Hindi Edition of HINT Daily. A Keen cricketer, he has been promoting sports and sportspersons. He heads various sports bodies at district and state levels.


    Mr. Kamal Sekhri is a man of vision. He cherishes the dream of making Ghaziabad a place known for journalism and mass communication on the country's map. Training under the watchful eyes of his father Mr. Vijay Sekhri, he has inherited not only the journalistic flair and aptitude from him, but also a social conscience that goads him towards social welfare activities.

    Today Mr. Kamal Sekhri manages the Hint Group as its Director and Chief Editor. Under his dynamic leadership the Hint Group has launched its edition of newspaper from Noida also. He also started Hint TV and Hint Audio Studio. His inherent dynamism has helped shape Hint TV into a leading provider of news and current affairs. He has big plans to develop Hint TV into a leading channel providing the highest quality of electronic infotainment to people.

    To address the growing need of media professionals, he set up the Hint Institute of Mass Communication. He wants to involve this institute into excellence of journalistic education of International standard. The world having shrunk to the size of a village, known as 'Global Village', the mass media is planning a vital role in reaching out to the farthest corners of the world in no time. And this creates the opportunity to those aspiring journalists who would like to be the part of a thrilling profession and career as a journalist.

    With his graduate degree in commerce and law, Mr. Kamal Sekhri started his journalistic career with the Morning Echo, a publication of the Hindustan Times Group, with which he was associated for two years. Later, he worked with the Press Trust of India and Bhasha news Agencies.

    His Passion for sports has given him a special place in the field of all important games and sports. He is the Chief Patron of sports at the district level and also the chairman of the District Olympic Association, Ghaziabad. He has also reported on Olympic Games from Atlanta & USA. He has also covered the Asian Games held in Beijing in China. He has visited Australia, Korea, Russia, Singapore and Thailand on various cultural and sports missions.

    A readine to implement new and fruitful ideas, innovative programmes and creative suggestions, makes Mr. Kamal Sekhri and Ideal person to direct the affairs of Hint Institute of Mass Communication.
